Our Work

Prior to the profound impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sunday Mass attendance in the United States had already decreased by 50% since 1970. Throughout this five-decade span, media, educational leaders, various social activists, cultural critics, and certain political movements have criticized the values of God, Family, and Country. This has lead to societal fragmentation, moral confusion, erosion of cultural identity, and mental health challenges among individuals of all ages.

At the Last Supper, Jesus Christ bestowed upon humanity His most sublime gift, the Eucharist, a divine testament to everlasting love and salvation. Beyond Baptism’s mission is to develop a nationwide network of lay ministers through a grassroots approach, working from the ground up. These volunteers will collaborate with their parish pastors to educate, inspire, and evangelize both current and lapsed Christians, with the aim of nurturing a community of devoted Eucharistic Disciples.

The Challenge

  • Increasing crime, economic pressures, immoral teaching

  • There are 10% fewer parishes than 20 years ago

  • Sunday Mass attendance has dropped 50% since 1970

  • Only 23% of all Catholics believe in the Real Presence, according to a recent Pew poll.

The Scope

In the USA there are:

  • 68 Million self-identifung Catholics

  • 17,000 parishes

  • 197 dioceses

  • only 16,700 active priests
